I don’t think that letting a guy know you’re interested and/or giving him your number means you’re doing something wrong at all! Personally, I enjoy both the give AND the take when it comes to the pre-date flirting. I can’t be doing ALL the work!
You may just be attracted to the type of guy who likes to do more of the pursuing! In which case, patience and more subtle means of flirting may wind up paying off. Guys do like to take at least SOME of the credit for landing a lady!
Again. With more specific examples, I could probably give more specific advice… But just remember that the TIMING of your actions can be just as important as the actions themselves.
